Hi. I saw you as a top comtributor. I need someone to ask a few questions to.
Do you think there will be a sequel to until dawn ? It seems like the "Canon" ending is Josh becoming a wendigo... Although it definitely seems a bit subjective, I would assume there is a Canon plot in which either everyone lived or a few died. I would think that Mike and Sam likely lived with Mike being "the hero" and Sam being the stereotypical "final girl" in horror movies. Emily probably lived just because of how fierce and badass she is... The others are up for debate...
Also, one thing that always bothered me was how was it that Hannah knew to go straight to the lodge in the final scene? It seems like she was completely oblivious to it's existence as a wendigo for an entire year, but after the run-in with Mike and Josh in the mines when she dragged Josh off and Mike barely escaped with his life, it seems that she went straight to the lodge.
By the way, did this post appear more than once? I tried to write it but when I clicked publish it made me make an account and the post was gone. Did it go through or not? If it did, sorry for posting inn your wall more than once.
I do not understand why the change to Emily, Jessica and Hannah in their presentation cards. The others have their nickname, for example: Samantha has Sam. So, why does not Emily get Em, or Jessica get Jess? I just wanted to say that, to know your opinion. Do not take it bad.
While names like Samantha and Christopher are their 'official' names, that's not what they are known as/referred to in the game. 'Em', 'Ash' etc. are simply all nicknames. The infobox displays the name everyone knows them as (and the way the game introduces them), e.g. Emily, Sam, Mike etc.
My name is Nico and I'm a member of the Community Development team here at FANDOM. Looking at the other labeled admins of this wiki, it would appear you've been the most active recently, so I apologize to other admins who may be lurking still.
I wanted to share a proposal/idea with you in regards to the Discussions feature.
In case you are unaware of the feature, Discussions was introduced last year to help communities engage with users and fans. It lives in its own space on the wiki and allows users to interact with other members of the community. It is also mobile friendly and gives mobile users a chance to contribute and engage with the community, and possibly turn them into wiki editors as well.
Special:Forums will eventually stop existing as that namespace and content will will be migrated to the Discussions platform. The reason why I'm asking you to adopt this product feature earlier than usual is because of the upcoming VR game that is under the Until Dawn IP. We'd hope that the new game might see this wiki's traffic increase and therefore more social interaction.
We would take care of migrating all the existing content on Special:Forums to discussions, so all you have to do is give us the thumbs up and we can get it done.
Feel free to have an open discussion with your community about this, and I'm available for any questions you might have!
Thanks for the information. The Discussions feature sounds like a great new platform for the game's topics and a nice addition to the community itself. As you mentioned, more activity is expected later this month due to The Inpatient's release, so getting this feature earlier would only be beneficial for that traffic.
In short: thumbs up given! I look forward to seeing it.
Awesome! I'll coordinate with a member of our special operations to get the migration underway. It should be seamless :) Let me know if there are any issues with the migration. I'll write you again once I have more information regarding when the migration will take place.
I'm Abstruse/Karim and I'm an admin on this wiki. I've been a big fan of Until Dawn the moment I watched my first playthrough, and since then I have watched about every other playthrough in existence. My favorite characters are Emily and Jess.
If you have any questions/suggestions, or if you're up for a good talk, let me know!
